Cognos Configuration

Add a Resource
To use different data sources in your Cognos 8 Controller installation, add new Cognos Controller
database connections to your configuration.
Steps
1. Start Cognos Controller Configuration.
2. In the Explorer window, click Database Connections.
3. From the File menu, click New.
An untitled database appears under Database Connections.
4. In the Untitled window, in the Name box, type a name for the database, and press Enter.
5. Enter the values for the remaining properties.
6. From the File menu, click Save.
